Calls are open to a diverse group of users, including researchers from research organisations, universities or laboratories as well as governments and industries such as food business operators, and food control instances.

METROFOOD-FED.BE invited you to submit project proposals starting from the 10^th of June 2024, until the deadline on the 1^st of December 2024 at 5 PM. Submitted proposals will be evaluated by our service providers, comprising top scientists and experts in the field. These providers will review all submissions and create a ranking list which will be approved by the node representative and international member of METROFOOD-RI to ensure a transparent evaluation process. The final selections and detailed evaluation reports will be made available to users on the 20^th of December 2024.

Users of the selected projects will be contacted by the service provider for an intake meeting by the beginning of January 2025 to kickstart their scientific endeavours. Each project will have a maximum of one year to conduct the required scientific analysis, with the service provision concluding on the 1^st of January 2026. The research experiments should not take up more than 6 months. Following the completion of the service period, a comprehensive final report will be prepared by the service providers and submitted to the users by the end of January 2026.

The info session took place on the 17^th of October 2024 from 4 pm till 5 pm. During the online info session, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive live answers from METROFOOD.BE researchers and representatives.
